About Us
Who We Are
Gospel-Centered
We play and create music to glorify God and point people to the truth of the Gospel message. Matthew 5:13-16 calls us, as Christ-followers, to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world, which we hope to display through our music.
Original Music
Many of the songs we play are originals, written by our lead singer, Darla Erskine, and arranged by the group. Her songs tell stories of common feelings and circumstances that give those listening an opportunity to relate, reflect, and respond in worship.
Family
Though none of us are related, our love for music and for Jesus are two things we have in common. We are more than a band; we truly are a family. It is a joy to be involved in each other's lives, in every season.

Darla is our lead singer and songwriter. She also has written some children's books that are yet to be published. She is a Nana to 4 precious grandchildren and loves any time she gets to spend with them. She enjoys serving at Bethany Bible Chapel, being with her family, and flower gardening. She and her husband, Dan, are from Waverly, IA

Rich is our acoustic guitar player, sings lead and harmony (pretty much whatever he is told!), and is from Dunkerton, IA. During the spring and fall he enjoys helping out at the farm, but his full-time job is maintenance at MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center. Marlene sings harmony vocal and is from
Cedar Falls, IA. She works for Quality Accounting Services in Waterloo. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking (and boy is her food tasty!!!) and spending time with her three daughters and their families.

Megan, at various times, is our drummer, mandolin player, and sings harmony. She works for Prairie Lakes Church as their Music Coordinator. She and her husband, Blake, are from Waterloo, IA and enjoy serving in church, doing escape rooms, trying new things, and of course, music! Blake helps out where needed, usually helping set up, tear down, and with tech.

Andrea is our keyboardist and is from Janesville, IA. She teaches piano lessons at Music Hill studios in Waterloo and takes care of her farm, including her chickens and sheep! In her free time she enjoys going horseback riding, composing some of her own music, and spending time with her husband and two sons.

Cara is our violin player and is from Cedar Falls, IA. She owns Cedar Valley Strings and teaches violin lessons! She and her husband Scott have five children that keep them busy! She loves to play her violin in a variety of ensembles and bands.
